Individual Disability Income Protection

Grant Thornton offers additional LTD benefits to employees and partners providing income protection for earnings of $150,000 or more. The Individual Disability Income (IDI) Insurance offered through Guardian allows you to purchase individual disability income insurance to enhance the basic Lincoln Financial LTD plan benefit. This benefit protects a greater portion of your income, with limited underwriting.

Supplemental IDI (partners only): High Income Fairfax IDI* provides a 65% income replacement for the balance of your earnings up to $1,800,000 per year.
*To be eligible for coverage under the High Income Fairfax IDI, you must have earnings of at least $415,000 and you must carry at least $15,000 of monthly individual disability insurance coverage through a combination of MassMutual, Guardian, or other personally owned disability policies.
